NORMA JEAN (BEAIRD) CLANIN

Norma Clanin

Norma ClaninNorma Jean Clanin, 86, of Pekin died at 6:16 a.m. Oct. 27, 2015, at Hallmark House in Pekin.

She was born April 30, 1929, in Seville, the daughter of Walter and Bertha Chenoweth Beaird. She married Charles Clanin on June 24, 1947, in Lewistown. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1995.

Surviving are one daughter, Gloria (and Larry) Horner of Summum; one son, Randy Clanin of Pekin; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was a part of the service club at Camp Ellis during World War II in Ipava. She also worked at Moram’s Restaurant and the clock factory, both in Table Grove. She also was a homemaker.

She was a member of Summum Christian Church.

Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Ken Peterson officiating. Burial was in Howard Cemetery in Smithfield.
