Charlotte M. Conlee, 89, of Hometown, died at 9:15 p.m. July 2, 2013, at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
She was born Aug. 19, 1923, in Bader, a daughter of William G. and Beulah S. Venters Trone. She married James Stout Conlee in 1948 in Jacksonville. He preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1998.
Surviving are one daughter, Charma Wicks of Palos Heights; one son, RG (and Wendy) Conlee of Lexington, Ky.; one brother, Edward Trone of Browning; one sister, Betty Ann Stewart-Livers of Canton; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She worked as a food service operator. She worked for over 40 years for North Palos School District #117 as a cook and kitchen manager.
Services were held Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matt Haberman officiating. Burial was in Bader Cemetery in Browning.
