LYLE G. CALHOUN

Lyle Calhoun

Lyle G. Calhoun, 74, of Bushnell, died at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 1996, at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.

He was born Sept. 8, 1921, in Marietta, a son of Fred E. and Dora E. Phelps Calhoun.

Surviving are two brothers, Harry Calhoun of Cuba, and Ghlee Calhoun of Ipava; one sister, Myrtle Foulk of Birch Tree, Mo.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

A disabled veteran since 1943, he served in the Army in the European Theater during World War II.

Graveside services were held Friday at Marietta Cemetery with Rev. Robert Skinner officiating.

Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1422 in Bushnell.
