Former Astorian Dies In Wis.

Richard W. Curless, age 56, died suddenly at his home in Berlin, Wis., on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 1978 at 11:30 p.m.

He was a veteran of World War II and has been in the construction business for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian; three sons, Gary, Roger and John, all of Wisconsin; one granddaughter; his mother, Mrs. Josie Curless of Astoria; two brothers, Tom and Joe; and one sister, Mrs. Susie Heflin, all of Astoria; and several nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held Thursday at Berlin, Wis., with burial there also.
