Mrs. Susan M. “Susie” Heflin, 68, of Astoria, died at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 1988, at the Astoria Healthcare Center.
She was born June 15, 1919, in Astoria, a daughter of Harley and Josie (Horton) Curless. She married Jack E. Heflin in 1939. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John (Mary Jo) Geltmaker of Astoria; two grandsons, Zach and T.J. Wilson of Astoria; and one brother, Joe Curless of Havana.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Mrs. Heflin was a member of Astoria Chapter #144, Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday morning at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. James Comstock officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
