Services Friday For Mrs. Ola Campbell

Mrs. Ola Mae Campbell, 77, of Astoria, charter member and past president of the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday evening, Sept. 29, in Schmitt Memorial Hospital at Beardstown.

She was the widow of Dr. O. L. Campbell to whom she was married Oct. 25, 1914. He died Sept. 10, 1960.

Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Mississippi Valley Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association Auxiliary.

She was a member of the Astoria Christian Church, Astoria Chapter No. 144, Order of the Eastern Star, and a charter member of the Astoria American Legion Auxiliary.

She was born in Winchester, Ill., February 22, 1893, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Priest.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Imogene Johnson of South Bend, Ind., and Mrs. Virginia Flood of Glenview, Ill.; two sons, John Campbell and Dr. Bernard Campbell, both of Astoria; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Schilson of Quincy and Mrs. Cecil Merriman of Bluffs and one half-sister, Mrs. Belle Becker of Springfield.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Shawgo Memorial Home with Paul Brubeck officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
