Rex Curless Died Saturday In Graham Hospital

Rex Curless, 74, a well known farmer residing near Enion in Kerton township, Fulton county, on Route 100, died Saturday afternoon in the Graham hospital, Canton, following an extended illness.

Mr. Curless was born in Bluff City, Aug. 12, 1882, a son of John and Marian Roach Curless. He was married on Sept. 5, 1904 in Havana to Zelma Ray, who survives.

Surviving besides his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Eva Kost and Mrs. Freida Renner, both of Astoria; also four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Curless was a member of the Astoria Masonic Lodge, and of the Peoria Consistory.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the Astoria Christian church, conducted by Rev. Lee Carter Maynard. Burial was in the Astoria cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were in charge of the Horton Funeral Home.
