She was born Aug. 9, 1937, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Allen and Nelda Kessler Bucher. She married Noah Virgil Bollinger on July 8, 1956, in Astoria. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1998.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Virgil Scott Bollinger; three brothers, Arthur, Beverly and Maynard Bucher; and six sisters, Ramona Mae Bucher, Virginia Maxine Cox, Leta Belle Bucher, Doris Baker, Bernice Wright and Irene Shaw.
Surviving are two daughters, Kim Prather of Browning and Wendy (and Neil) Danner of Astoria; one son, Sam (and Sharenda) Bollinger of Browning; daughter-in-law, Kathleen Behymer of Astoria; one brother, Dayle (and Patricia) Bucher of Bedford, Iowa; one sister-in-law, Maxine Bucher of Astoria; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was a pastor. She and her husband, started and pastored the Believers Fellowship Church in 1976. She later went on to start and pastor the Love Center Church and Faith, Hope and Love Church.
Services were held Monday at the Woodland Church of the Brethren in Astoria with Pastor Ben Murray officiating. Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Hickory Township Fire Department and the Astoria Fire and Rescue Squad.
