NOAH VIRGIL BOLLINGER

Virgil Bollinger

Virgil Bollinger, 64, of Browning, died at 4:20 p.m. Friday, June 19, 1998, in the Culbertson Memorial Hospital emergency room in Rushville.

He was born Feb. 17, 1934, in Canton, the son of Ernest and Velma Hayward Bollinger. He married Nedra Bucher on July 8, 1956, in Astoria. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Kim Prather of Browning and Wendy Danner of Astoria; one son, Sam, of Browning; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Scott Bollinger.

He was a lifelong farmer and served on the Hickory Township Board for 14 years. He served in the Brethren Volunteer Services in New Windsor, Md., for two years. He was a member of Schuyler County Farm Bureau. He was a member of Love Center Church in Browning.

Services were held Tuesday at Woodland Church of the Brethren in Astoria with Rev. D. Arnold Naff officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
