She was born July 16, 1948, in Macomb, a daughter of Harold “Whitey” and Virginia Wolfe DeMott. She married Commander Ed Bohm, U.S. Navy Retired, on Dec. 18, 1964, in Ipava. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Dennis (and Claudia) Bohm of Bryceville, Fla., and Darin (and Sue) Bohm of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two sisters, Carolyn (and Rick) Beaird of Austin, Texas, and Lisa (and Larry) Kendrick of Vermont; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Harold DeMott.
She was a dedicated member of the VFW Auxiliary in Okee Chobee, Fla., where she cooked many meals.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Marilyn’s name may be made to your local humane society.
