Betty Jean Beans, 96, of Vermont died at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 12, 2020, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Macomb.
She was born Feb. 20, 1924, in Vermont, the daughter of Walter F. and Ethel Pace Martin. She married Amos Beans. He passed away in 1997.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Martin.
Surviving are one son, Marty (and Melanie) Beans of Macomb; two daughters, Amy Lu Brillhart of Galesburg and Barbara (and Mike) Hickey of Springfield; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She lived all of her life in the Vermont area.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb was in charge of arrangements.
