She was born June 19, 1934, in Canton, a daughter of Henry and Pearl Peterman Busby. She married William “Willie” Bucher on Nov. 30, 1954, in Astoria. He preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2014.
She also was preceded in death by one grandson, Erik Bucher; two brothers, Morris and Don Busby; and one sister, Hildreth Busby.
Surviving are one daughter, Lu Ann (and Charlie) Bollinger of Astoria; two sons, Alvin Bucher and Larry (and Lisa) Bucher, both of Astoria; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Fred Fritz officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
