She was born July 22, 1935, in Canton, a daughter of Howard and Pauline Stockham Ogden. She married Virgil Burget on Aug. 20, 1949, in Wickliffe, Ky. He survives.
Also surviving are five sons, Steven (and Pam) Burget and Shelby Burget, both of Astoria, Stanley (and Sandy) Burget and Sheldon (and Brenda) Burget, both of Lewistown, and Scott (and Teresa) Burget of Rushville; one daughter, Sharon (and Steve) Musson of Astoria; one sister, Judy Windsor of Summum; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, Stewart Burget; one daughter, Sherry Wells; one grandson, James Cannon; two great-granddaughters, Samantha and Reese Carithers; one brother, John Ogden; and one sister, Charlotte Towery.
She worked as a CNA at Havana Healthcare, Astoria Care Center and the Elms in Macomb. She also worked at Bob’s Dairy Dipper in Astoria.
Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Terry Lucas officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
