She was born Feb. 20, 1922, in Kerton Township in Fulton County, the daughter of Samuel and Ida Brann Shelabarger. She married Morris Busby on Dec. 23, 1964, in Vermont. He preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 2006.
Also preceding her in death was one son, Gary Corman.
Surviving are one son, Leslie Corman of Nacogdoches, Texas; four daughters, Sharon (and Mike) Ratcliff of Browning, Terry (and Tom) Briggs of Philadelphia, Ill., Joyce Barns of Champaign and Julie (and Donald) Anderson of Springfield, Ohio; one stepson, Michael (and Tina) Busby of Table Grove; four stepdaughters, Deborah Sheets of Canton, Marsha (and Lindell) Himmel of Forest City, Nancy Gilson of Decatur and Pamela Shaw of Astoria; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Christian Neck Cemetery.
