Bernard Bollinger Dies Suddenly

Bernard "Bud" Bollinger of Astoria died Tuesday night, Nov. 29, 1983, after becoming ill earlier in the evening.

Funeral arrangements are pending.

Bernard Bollinger Dies In Hospital

Bernard H. Bollinger, 67, of Astoria, died at 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1983, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville after being admitted a few hours earlier.

He was born Feb. 29, 1916, near Astoria, the son of Nathaniel and Margaret M. (France) Bollinger.

Surviving are two sisters, Nelda McCormick of Astoria and Louise Stewart of East Peoria; and one brother Harold of Vermont.

Mr. Bollinger was a retired employee of King Seeley of Macomb.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
