Harold F. Bollinger, 88, of Vermont, died at 9:05 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998, at Astoria Healthcare Center in Astoria.
He was born Aug. 4, 1909, in Astoria, a son of Nathaniel and Margaret Maye France Bollinger. He married Shirley M. Danner on April 17, 1937, in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Sondra Winston of Beardstown and Harriett Rhoades of Astoria; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Louise Stewart of Trivoli.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
He worked at Vermont Foundry for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
