Mrs. Irma E. Burgard, 82, of Astoria died at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 1983, in Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Rushville.
Born Jan. 17, 1901, in Fulton County, a daughter of Aaron and Elizabeth Switzer Bollinger, she married Andrew B. Burgard Dec. 12, 1928, in Rushville. He died May 12, 1969.
One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Rev. Lester E. Burgard of Astoria; one daughter, Mrs. Marian Husemann of Macomb; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Orpha Taylor of Pekin; and two brothers, Blaine Bollinger of Astoria and Herschel Bollinger of Browning.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. this afternoon in the Astoria Church of the Nazarene, of which she was a member. Rev. Layton Malone will officiate and burial will be in Browning Cemetery.
