Mrs. Mary B. Brown, 84, of Vermont died Sunday morning Aug. 9, at Culbertson Hospital in Rushville, following an extended illness.
She was born Nov. 14, 1885, in Schuyler County, the daughter of Albert and Louisa Williams Mitchell.
She was married to Roy Brown on June 13, 1907, at Havana. He died in 1954.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Hickle of Vermont and Miss Sarah Brown of Rushville; a son, Haskell Brown of Andalusia; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Jack Mitchell of St. Louis, Mo. She was preceded in death by a daughter and 4 brothers.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Kost Memorial Home, with burial in Vermont Cemetery.
