Sara E. Brown, 78, formerly of Vermont, died at 8:25 a.m. Friday, March 19, 1999, at Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home in Rushville.
She was born Dec. 17, 1920, in Astoria, a daughter of Roy and Mary Belle Mitchell Brown.
Surviving are one sister-in-law, Virginia Brown of Peoria; and several nieces and nephews.
One brother and two sisters preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held Monday at Vermont Cemetery. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Snyder’s Vaughn-Haven Nursing Home.
