Donald Anderson

Donald L. Anderson, 71, of Springfield, Ohio, died Sept. 14, 2017, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

He was born July 19, 1946, in Tower Hill, a son of David E. and Bessie Ethridge Anderson.

Surviving are his wife, Julie J. Corman Anderson; one brother, Larry F. (and LaTrisha) Anderson of Urbana, Ohio; one sister, Ruth (and Rodney) Simpson of Astoria; many nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, David “Butch” Anderson Jr. and Raymond Anderson.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He retired from Navistar following 30 years of service.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at the Littleton & Rue Funeral Home, 830 N. Limestone St., Springfield, OH 45503.
