Rose Anderson, 84, of Vermont died at 4:15 a.m. Sept. 3, 2007, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Feb. 15, 1923, in Summum, a daughter of Harry and Dorothy Barnes Graham. She married Neal Anderson on Aug. 6, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo. He died Dec. 1, 1999.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Wendell Anderson; three brothers, Richard, Thomas and Bernard Graham; and two sisters, Dorothy Ruth Batterton and Mildred Van Middlesworth.
Surviving are one daughter, Sherill Qazzaz of Farmington, Mo.; one foster son, Jeff Hinderliter of Pekin; one brother, Max Graham of Canton; and four grandchildren.
She was a member of United Methodist Church of Vermont and United Methodist Women.
Services were held Thursday at her church. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to her church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
