ISABEL (KOLP) GROVE AVERY

Mrs. Isabel Avery Of Minooka Dies

Mrs. Isabel Avery, 79, of Route 2, Minooka, died at 7:15 a.m. Thursday, Apr. 3, 1980, at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.

She was born Mar. 12, 1901, in Browning, the daughter of Martin and Vada Kolp. She was married to Charles Grove who preceded her in death. On Feb. 8, 1930, she was married in Browning to Louis Avery. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Bernice Evelyn) Baldwin of Mt. Sterling; one son, Oliver Lee Avery of Minooka; one brother, Geiman Kolp of Browning; one sister, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Skiles of Astoria; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two children in infancy, one sister, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Northcutt Funeral Home in Beardstown with Rev. Arlen Longanecker of the Astoria Church of the Brethren officiating. Burial was in the South Fulton Cemetery near Astoria.
