David YocumDavid YocumDavid L. Yocum, 48, of Prairie City died at 1:28 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, in Gary, Ind.
He was born Nov. 12, 1949, in Macomb, the son of Roy William and Nina Marjory Predmore Yocum. He married Beverly Ann Wenz on Nov. 17, 1967, in Abingdon. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, David of Bushnell and Scott of Prairie City; one granddaughter; and five sisters, Jetta Shaw of Table Grove, Nancy Miller and Nita Stoneking, both of Prairie City, Julie Cassidy of Belleview and Sandy Mortensen of Golden, Colo.
He was a truck driver. He was in the Army from 1969 to 1971 and served in Vietnam for one year.
Services were held Friday at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home with Rev. Mary Pearce officiating. Burial was in Prairie City Cemetery.
