Nina M. Yocum Dies In Hospital

Nina M. Yocum, 76, of Prairie City, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, March 11, 1990, at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.

She was born March 5, 1914, in Fishhook, a daughter of Earl and Lena Vansandt Predmore. She married Roy Yocum on Nov. 28, 1933, in Lewistown. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, David of Prairie City; five daughters, Jetta Shaw of Table Grove, Nancy Miller and Anita Stoneking, both of Prairie City, Julie Cramer of Bartonville, and Sandra Mortensen of Golden, Colo.; one sister, Dorothylene Linger of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; 25 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and six grandchildren.

She was a member of the Methodist faith.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell with Rev. Mark Holt officiating. Burial was in Prairie City Cemetery.
