She was born Oct. 27, 1932, in Rushville, the daughter of George G. and Flossie F. Ogden Wise.
Surviving are three nieces, Marsha Colletta of Oakland, Ore., Kristen (and Brad) Bettencourt of Arnold, Md., and Carrie Wise of Astoria; two nephews, Ed (and Kathryn) Wise of Worland, Wyo., and Dan (and Robin) Wise of Bolingbrook; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, George H. Wise, Gilbert Wise and Ronald Wise; and special friend, Jim Curless.
She was an Astoria High School graduate and a graduate of Quincy Beauty Academy. She was the owner and operator of Iona’s Cut and Curl in Astoria for many years.
She was a member of Astoria United Methodist Church and the Pythian Sisters. She also was an official member of the “Golden Gals” of Astoria.
Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial was held in the Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
