She was born Sept. 24, 1932, in rural Smithfield, a daughter of Clair and Ina Chenoweth Lafary. She married Thomas J. Wilson on Aug. 9, 1950, in Smithfield. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1998.
She also was preceded in death by one infant sister, Sharon Lafary; two sisters, Shirley Manuel and Wilma Ross; and three brothers, Clair Lafary, John Lafary and Charlie Lafary.
Surviving are two sons, Ed Wilson of Delavan and Joe Wilson of Cuba; one daughter, Cindy (and Jerry) Buchen of Cuba; one sister, Thelma (and Harold) Miller of Smithfield; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and was a member of the Canton Women’s Bowling Association.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield with Pastor Ellen Dodd officiating. There will be no visitation. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba is in charge of arrangements.
