Lowell WorsdellLowell Edmond Worsdell, 83, of Coral Springs, Fla., died May 31, 2022, in Boca Raton, Fla.

He was born Jan. 21, 1939, in Vermont, a son of Loren and Wilma Strode Worsdell.

Surviving are his wife, Judith Robbins; two children, April Worsdell and Jeffrey Worsdell; two stepchildren, Scott Robbins and Stephanie Antone; one sister, Karalinda Robb; and nine grandchildren.

After graduating from VIT High School, he joined the U.S. Army where he served in the Finance Corps in Fort Knox, Ky. While in the Army, he was responsible for managing payroll.

After being honorably discharged from the Army, he attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, before moving to Florida where he established a career in marble and tile sales.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Matthew Thiner officiating. Military rites will be provided by the Vermont American Legion. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
