Loren E. Worsdell, 64, of Louisiana, Mo., formerly of Vermont, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1981, at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, Mo.
He was born Nov. 7, 1916, in Vermont, a son of Ernest and Estella Kirkbride Worsdell. On June 10, 1936, he was married to Wilma Strode. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Lowell Worsdell of Hialeah, Fla.; one daughter, Karalinda Meislin of Averill Park, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
A retired farmer, he had lived in the Vermont area before moving to Missouri 14 years ago.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Thomas Sneed of Hannibal, Mo., officiating. Burial will be in the Vermont Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening (Wednesday) at the Memorial Home.
