Clinton WallerClinton H. "Bud" Waller, 81, of Lewistown died at 12:24 p.m. July 18, 2011, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born Nov. 3, 1929, in Lewistown, a son of Clinton H. and Nellie Mae West Waller. He married Marilyn Meyer on Oct. 11, 1948, in Havana. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, John (and Susie) Waller of Acworth, Ga., one sister, Sandra Simpson of Lewistown; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

He worked at Caterpillar retiring after 32 years.

He served in the Illinois National Guard in 1948.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Danie deBeer officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown where military services will be conducted by Lewistown VFW and Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the memorial home.
