Marilyn Waller

Marilyn L. Waller, 84, of Lewistown died at 6:30 a.m. July 19, 2015, at Clayberg Nursing Center in Cuba.

She was born Oct. 21, 1930, in rural Havana, a daughter of John H. and Geneda Welker Meyer. She married Clinton H. “Bud” Waller on Oct. 11, 1948, in Havana. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2011.

She also was preceded in death by two sisters.

Surviving are one son, John (and Susie) Waller of Acworth, Ga.; three sisters, Donna Chapman of Canton, Harriet (and Dick) Baldwin of Smithfield and Bonnie (and Roy) Jones of Macomb; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was a homemaker and also had worked at Brannon Cleaners, the former Clarytona Nursing Home and Meals on Wheels.

She was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church and the Lewistown American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Bob Miner officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial home.
