Ila WeishaarIla Mae Weishaar, 86, of Browning died at 12:45 a.m. May 18, 2010, at Heritage Manor East Nursing Home in Beardstown.

She was born March 27, 1924, in Bainbridge Twp., Schuyler Co., a daughter of Fred and Tilpha Dodds Mohlenbruck. She married Charles “Ike” Weishaar on Feb. 23, 1946, in Browning. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Steven Charles (and Suzan) Weishaar of Beardstown; two daughters, Sondra Cheyene “Marie” (and Jeff) Bailey of Spokane, Wash., and Susan Weishaar (and companion, Rusty Powell) of Rushville; three brothers, Herman (and Shirley) Mohlenbruck and Richard Mohlenbruck, both of Rushville and Samuel (and Becky) Mohlenbruck of Creve Couer; two sisters, Wilma Brown of Maquon and Fredia Walker of Delevan; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Steven Brewer; one great-grandson, Vail Cady II; and one sister, Etha Stambaugh.

She was a quilter.

She was an active member of Browning Central Christian Church.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at her church with Mr. Paul Burton and Rev. Justin Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow in Browning Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
