Fredia WalkerFredia Alyenne Walker, 93, of Rushville died at 10:57 a.m. Jan. 4, 2021, at Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Dec. 11, 1927, in Bainbridge Township Schuyler County near Frederick, a daughter of Fred Herman and Tilpha F. Dodds Mohlenbruck. She married Henry E. Kirkham on April 20, 1946, in Browning. He preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2003. She later married Charles O. Walker on Nov. 28, 1969, in Washington, Ill. He also preceded her in death.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Leslie Eugene Kirkham; three brothers, Rudolph Mohlenbruck, Herman Mohlenbruck and Samuel Mohlenbruck; and two sisters, Etha Stambaugh and Ila Weishaar.

Surviving are one daughter, Marietta A. Kirkham and Kelli Otting of Hardy, Ark.; one honorary daughter, Pam Booton of Kansas City, Kan.; one brother, Richard Mohlenbruck of Frederick; one sister, Wilma Brown of Macon; two grandchildren; one honorary grandchild; three great-grandchildren; three honorary great-grandchildren; and five honorary great-great-grandchildren.

She was a licensed beautician and a CNA working for Dr. Robert Nart in Peoria. She did private duty nursing from 2005 until retiring due to ill health.

She was a member of Delavan United Methodist Church and attended Littleton Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Messerer Cemetery with Rev. Robert Kirkham officiating. Inurnment will follow. There will be no visitation. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
