MARJORIE A. (WORKMAN) WILSON

Marjorie Wilson

Marjorie A. Wilson, 78, of Astoria died at 12:35 p.m. Sept. 21, 2006, at Astoria Gardens & Rehab Center.

She was born Nov. 2, 1927, in Rushville, a daughter of Samuel B. and Ruby Hulvey Workman. She married Larry W. Wilson on Dec. 16, 1946, in Peoria. He died April 27, 1991.

Also preceding her in death were two grandsons, Larry J. Wilson Jr., and Jeremy Wilson.

Surviving are two sons, Larry James (and Rhonda) of Springfield, Ohio, and David of Normal; three brothers, James (and Roberta) Workman and Max (and Marilyn) Workman, both of Astoria, and Virgil (and Roberta) Workman of Nisswa, Wis.; one sister, LaVern (and Charles) Anderson of Macomb; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

She was a homemaker. She worked part-time at the Astoria Healthcare Center and Gain's Greenhouse and Nursery in Astoria.

She was a member of Astoria United Methodist Church.

Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Larry Reinke officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
