Alma H. Wickert, 101, formerly of Astoria, died at 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2000, at Prairieview Care Center in Lewistown.
She was born Dec. 14, 1898, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Ross and Jeanette May Howell Husted. She married Reuben D. Wickert on April 18, 1920, in Astoria. He died May 24, 1988.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Surviving are one son, L. Leon (and Rosalee) of Lewistown; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was a charter member of Fulton County Home Extension.
She was a member of Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Gary Schultz officiating. Entombment was in Astoria Memorial Mausoleum.
