ELMER L. “DICK” WINNER

Elmer Winner

Elmer L. (Dick) Winner, 73, of St. Louis, Mo., died at his home on March 17, 2000.

He was born March 27, 1927, at Sheldons Grove in Schuyler County, a son of Charles E. and Cecil Cole Winner. He married Elizabeth Hofmueller Winner in Germany. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Harry; one daughter, Christine (and David) Faulstich; a granddaughter, Aimee; a grandson, Gregory Faulstich; one brother, Robert E. (and Patty) Winner of Browning; and one sister, Mary Winner of Galesburg.

His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

He was a veteran of World War II and a former member of the American Legion.

He retired from Wagner Electric in 1989 and later drove a van for Bevo Community Center in St. Louis.

Services and interment were at National Cemetery Chapel on Wednesday, March 22.
