Athey Walraven, 88, of Plainville, Kan., died Monday, March 10, 1997, at the Plainville Health Care Center.
He was married to Hazel O. Lau. She died in 1987. Two brothers also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one son, Dale Walraven; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Helen (Lau) Shaw; two nephews, Willis E. Shaw and Buddy L. Shaw, all of Astoria; two nieces, Evelyn A. Hopping of Washington and Harriett A. Schomer of Astoria.
He was born and raised in the Summum area.
Services and burial were at Plainville, Kan.
