Mary Madge West, 49, of Jefferson City, Mo. died Saturday, June 29, 1996, at Capital Regional Medical Center-Southwest.
She was born Aug. 29, 1946, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Russell B. and Alleyne Margret Wright Rhoads. She was married July 7, 1963, in Jefferson City to Delbert L. West. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, J.R. West of Jefferson City; one daughter, Penny Rae West of Jefferson City; one sister, Beverly Prather of Jefferson City; two grandchildren; Great Aunt Alberta Taggert of Canton; and a cousin, Carroll Parker of Astoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandmother, Mrs. Faye Durkin.
She attended East Elementary and Jefferson City High School. She had been employed as a laboratory technician in the medical laboratory at Capital Region Medical Center-Madison and also was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 1 at Buescher Memorial Home with Rev. Roger Driggs officiating.
