Mrs. Isla Weishaar Of Browning Dies

Mrs. Isla Mae Weishaar, 65, of Browning died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 1975, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Mrs. Weishaar was born in Browning on Feb. 4, 1910, the daughter of Alfred and Nina Harris Lane. She married Frank Weishaar on Sept. 2, 1928, in Beardstown. He died Jan. 14, 1967.

She was a lifetime resident of Browning and a member of the Browning Assembly of God Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Betty) Winston of Rushville and Mrs. Billy (Peggy) Stambaugh of Browning; two sons, James and Alfred of Beardstown; one brother, Carlyle Lane of Frederick; one sister, Mrs. Homer (Myrtle) Cox of Browning; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one daughter.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Browning Assembly of God Church with Rev. Oliver Knell officiating. Burial was in the Browning Cemetery.
