Mrs. Bessie A. Wickert, 74, of Peoria, passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, at the Methodist Hospital.
A resident of Peoria for the past 45 years, she was born Feb. 27, 1895 in Fulton County, the daughter of Abraham J. and Emma Belle McLaren Markley, and was married to Ernest W. Wickert on May 16, 1914, in Ipava.
Surviving are her husband; one son, William C. Wickert of Peoria; a brother, Seymour Markley of Summum and four grandchildren. A daughter, Anna Belle, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 10 in Peoria, with burial in Parkview Cemetery.
