Patricia E. Thomas, 72, previously of Macomb, died at 4:48 p.m. April 13, 2022, at her apartment in Oklahoma City, Okla.
She was born April 6, 1950, in Crawfordsville, Ind., a daughter of Leslie and Delores Stockdale Switzer. She married Norman Thomas on Oct. 10, 1970, in Ipava. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Leslie “Les” Eugene Switzer Jr.; one sister, Tammy Switzer; and her parents.
Surviving are one son, Kary Wade (and Amy Marie) Thomas of Midwest City, Okla.; one sister, Carolyn Shutter of Ipava; and one brother, Brian Switzer of Macomb.
She graduated from the University of Illinois in Chicago and was a dental assistant for George Foster, DDS of Macomb for many years. In 1985, she retired to become a full-time mother.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Ipava Cemetery with Pastor Travis Gage officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
