Lola Taylor

Lola TaylorLola Mae Taylor, 82, of Glasford died at 1 a.m. Aug. 19, 2015, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born May 17, 1933, in Astoria, a daughter of Toler W. and Vera M. Shawgo Brehm.

Surviving are one daughter, Jean (and Ken Jr.) Neuman of Glasford; one son, James (and Renee) Taylor of Lewistown; one brother, Larry (and Sara) Brehm of Poloma; one sister, Sondra Boling of Canton; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one grandson, Link Hadsall; and one brother, Bernard Brehm.

She worked in Social Services at Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba.

She was a member of Lewistown VFW Post #5001 Auxiliary, and former member of the Eagles Club in Canton. She volunteered at Clayberg after her retirement.

Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Kevin Stoneking officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
