She was born Sept. 13, 1923, in Schuyler County, a daughter of Jennus and Iva Lawler Reische. She married Bernard Thompson on Nov. 4, 1942, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on March 10, 2008.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Acker and Susan Maxine Bartlow; and one brother, Bill Reische.
Surviving are one daughter, Carol (and Charles "Chuck") Warner of Rushville; one brother, Jennus "Junior" (and Dorothy) Reische Jr. of Rushville; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
She and her husband, Bernard, owned and operated Thompson Antiques for 35 years.
Graveside services were held Friday at Rushville City Cemetery with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
