Evelyn L. Trone, 81, of Browning died at 3:28 p.m. Aug. 12, 2011, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
She was born May 25, 1930, in Browning Township, Schuyler County, the daughter of Kenneth J. and Mary E. Trone Stambaugh. She married Edward "Bud" Trone on Nov. 13, 1948, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Cheryl (and Marvin) Hoebing of Quincy and Sally (and Marty) Bair of Browning; four sons, Ronnie Trone, Stephen Trone, Randall Trone and Bernard "Ace" (and Vicki) Trone, all of Browning; one brother, Leon (and Lois) Stambaugh of Browning; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren with a great-granddaughter expected within the month.
She was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Ruth Trone.
She was a bookkeeper for Bader's Garage in Astoria, adjustor for Federal Crop Insurance and currently worked as an assessor in Schuyler County Assessor's Office in Rushville.
She was a member of Bader Christian Church.
Graveside services were held Monday at Bader Cemetery in Browning with Brother Matt Haberman officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
