Amy T. Thompson Of Ripley Dies

Mrs. Amy T. Thompson, 64, of Ripley, died at 11:50 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 1982, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

She was born April 27, 1918, in Muncie, Ind., the daughter of Howard and Ruth Derry Brown. She married Paul Thompson on Feb. 2, 1936, in Lewistown.

Surviving are her husband; four sons, Harold of Clinton, Iowa, Herman of Beardstown, Paul of Moriarty, N.M., and Gary of Clinton; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lindsey of Lewistown, Mrs. Clara Lewis of Peoria, and Mrs. Katherine Estep of Holly Hill, Fla.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one infant sister.

The Brown family formerly lived in Astoria.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Sellers officiating. Burial was in Ripley Cemetery.
