Mrs. Edna Trone Dies At Age 68

Mrs. Edna Pauline Trone, 68, of Bardolph died at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, 1975 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was born Mar. 6, 1906, in Adair, a daughter of John and Ina Shank Trimmer. She married Dewey C. Trone on Dec. 21, 1925, at Macomb. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Dewey A. of Roseville and John C. of Rushville; four daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Ina) Doran, Phyllis E. Trone and Darlene Trone, all of Macomb, and Gail E. Trone of Bardolph; four grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. Irene Zeutzius of Des Plaines, Mrs. Arleigh (Abbie) Wright of Astoria, Mrs. Gladys Thomson of Yates City, and Mrs. Margaret Tyler of Peoria.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Lyle, Ned, and Daniel.

Mrs. Trone had spent most of her life as a McDonough County resident. She had attended the Bardolph Presbyterian Church for 30 years.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Sargent Funeral Home in Macomb with burial in the Bardolph Cemetery. Those who wish to may donate to the Bardolph Presbyterian Church in her memory.
