Former Summum Woman Dies At Home In Havana

Alice Belle Deary, daughter of Vance and Ida Lau Deary, was born near Summum, Aug. 18, 1866, and passed away Feb. 25 at her home in Havana, after an illness of several weeks duration.

On September 22, 1906, she was united in marriage to Frank Trapp of Havana. To this union five children were born, namely: Fay, Keith, Frank, Mrs. Ilene O’Grady and Mrs. Ruby Grafford, all of and near Havana, who with their father and four grandchildren, survive. Also her mother, Mrs. Ida Deary of Summum, together with the following sisters: Mrs. Doris Danner of Astoria; Mrs. Hattie Weese, Mrs. Emma Ward, Mrs. Jennie Raker, Mrs. Geneva Trone of Summum; Mrs. Mary Wilson and Mrs. Phyllis Quigley, of Lewistown.

Mrs. Trapp was a member of the Summum Christian church.

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Summum Christian church, conducted by Rev. Ralph Cummings, pastor of the Baptist church, Havana. Interment in Summum cemetery.
