Mrs. Jennie V. Raker, 83, of Summum, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 1985, in Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Rushville.
She was born Sept. 22, 1901, in Summum, the daughter of Vance and Ida (Lau) Deary. She married Bruce D. Raker on Feb. 15, 1930, in Galesburg. He died June 21, 1979.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Carol) Purple of Metamora; two sisters, Mrs. Leo (Phyllis) Quigley of Lewistown and Mrs. Erna (Geneva) Trone of Astoria; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.
She was a member of Summum Christian Church.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 Monday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home, Astoria with Rev. Roger Koster officiating. Burial was in Summum Cemetery.
