She was born March 12, 1943, in Astoria, the daughter of Willis and Lorene Trone Sullivan. They preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Donald Sullivan.
Surviving are one brother, Charles Sullivan of Gilson; and several cousins and friends.
She received a Bachelors in Continuing Education, and went on to receive her Masters at Bradley University in Education.
She worked as an Elementary teacher for District #150 at several schools including Douglas, Lee, Garfield and Roosevelt where she retired after over 35 years. After retirement she continued her passion for teaching with Christ Lutheran School and Central Library in District #150 for an additional eight years.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A funeral service was held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria on Friday with Pastor Adrian Garcia officiating.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Peoria or Apostolic Christian Nursing Home of Eureka.
