He was born May 15, 1950, in Astoria, a son of Willis W. and Lorene E. Trone Sullivan. He married Antonia “Susie” Ramirez on Jan. 14, 1971, in Galesburg. She preceded him in death on Dec. 11, 2000.
He also was preceded in death by his parents; his maternal grandparents, Loren and Mary Trone; and his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Iris Sullivan.
Surviving are one daughter, Lori (and Mark) Beetler of Greenwood, Ind.; one brother, Charles (and Dianna Poland) Sullivan of Gilson; one sister, Janice Sullivan of Peoria; and two grandchildren.
He worked at Bill’s Seat Cover in Galesburg for over 30 years. He graduated from Galesburg High School and attended Knox College and Southern Illinois University.
He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church Bowling Team. He also was an active participant with the Cottage Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation Program.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Galesburg Chapel. Cremation was accorded. Burial will be at a later date.
