She was born April 25, 1960, in Beardstown, a daughter of Dwight and Lillian Luttrell Thompson. She married Marion Thomas “Tom” Swan on Nov. 15, 1981, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2021.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Charlotte Jones.
Surviving are three children, Jack Hulslander III (and companion Charity Ferendzo) of Marissa, Nicole Quinn of Macomb and Amanda (and Brian) Friday of Springfield; one sister, Jeanne (and Jim) Woodruff of Rushville; and eight grandchildren.
She attended Rushville High School and graduated from Spoon River College. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in healthcare her entire career, until ill health in February, 2020.
Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend Stacy Tomich officiating. Burial will follow in the Rushville City Cemetery.
